This Summer we commemorated Refugee Week and our one year anniversary with voices of Migration. From people of a refugee background to second generation immigrants, we had an evening of spoken word, poetry, music and dance.
We continue to live in a hostile environment towards refugees and migrants. We must counteract that with safe spaces that allow us to express ourselves creatively, to solidify our humanity, compassion and community.
Thank you to each and every person who participated and contributed to make this evening so beautiful and intimate.
